Women Today

With degrees in hand and voices in soul

The woman today steps out to fulfill her goal

 

Her mornings are braced and steady

Breakfasts and Tiffins are ordinally ready

All mothers and non-mothers ought to endure

Comforting, caregiving and keeping family afore

 

For the mighty god knows she can, she will

Perform with grace whether dusk or dawn

Playing with kids while her laptop is on

 

All she needs is to be heard from her heart

Accepting the substance of her views

And showing composure in her blues

 

For she will stand fearless and tall

When you need her most in your odds

Being cold-hearted is never her thought

 

Compassion is her gift from god

The woman of today has bloomed a lot
